Milir Foundation for Social Justice & Research is a Non-Profit Organisation that works at the intersection of mental health and social realities.
Milir Foundation for Social Justice & Research
We center lived experiences and community knowledge, and use a psychoeducative approach to support the unlearning of caste bias and enable collective healing and building mental health systems that truly serve marginalized communities.
Why Milir
Caste shapes everyday experiences in ways that can affect emotional wellbeing, self-worth, and access to care.Over generations, these impacts can become layered and complex.
These realities are often not fully recognised in mental health spaces.
Milir exists to change this.
We build healing spaces and learning platforms that place caste within mental health conversations—thoughtfully, responsibly, and with a focus on collective healing.
